Welcome to the Maesmarchog Primary School website! Maesmarchog Primary School is situated at the top of the picturesque Dulais Valley.
The aim of our website is to keep existing and prospective families in touch with what is going on at our School and to give you a little insight into what life at Maesmarchog Primary School has to offer.
During our ESTYN visit in October 2015 inspectors commented upon the positive way in which pupils play and work together, the way in which the school promotes health and wellbeing, the role of the school governors, the schools ability to identify areas for improvement and the way in which we work with a wide range of partners to improve outcomes for learners.

Our school improvement targets for the year are;
1. To help children to improve their thinking skills
2. To improve attendance
3. To make sure that all children with Additional learning needs make progress
4. To improve phonics in the Foundation phase
5. To help the children develop their understanding of maths
