Class 1

Hello Class 1!

Happy new year! We hope you all had a lovely Christmas break! It’s not quite the start to the new year we would have hoped but here are some new year activities for this week to get you started. We can’t wait to see your smiley faces soon!

Here are our email addresses:

allenl41@hwbcymru.net
lawd15@hwbcymru.net

  • Think of a new years resolution and write it down and/or draw a picture.

Miss Allen’s new year resolution is to try and walk 10,000 steps a day! What’s yours? Maybe learn to ride a bike or try new foods?

  • Can you draw a picture and/or write about your favourite Christmas present.

You were all such good boys and girls I bet Santa was very kind! I can’t wait to find out what lovely gifts you had.

  • Have a go at writing a ‘thank you’ letter to Santa for your gifts.

I think Santa would be thrilled to know how much you are enjoying playing with your new toys. Let him know which one is your favourite.

  • Practise writing your name. Your parents can write your name on paper and you can overwrite using lots of colours. Then maybe try having a go on your own.

  • Lets practise ordering numbers forwards and backwards! Start with the small numbers and work your way up.

https://www.topmarks.co.uk/ordering-and-sequencing/caterpillar-ordering

Try your best to complete some of these activities. We’d love to see your work – you could take a photo and send it to us via email.
